As an Intern at the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce I have the responsibilites of performing simple administrative tasks. These include responding to emails, answering phone calls, and answering inquiries. I also have the responsibility of helping plan events. This includes creating flyers, brochures, advertisements, facebook events and communicating with multiple medias to make these events run smoothly. This internship has taught me a lot about how to work with a real team for the benefit of a community.
Team Lead Editor - Income School
April 2021 - December 2022
My work at the Income School started as a blog writer, under the supervision of a team lead editor. I would write SEO blogs about various topics. I became a team lead on the date listed above, and began running my own team of writers for SEO blogs. I would train new writers in creating the contnt needed, and edit the blogs to prepare them for publication on the internet. This would involve fact checking, copyediting and looking for understanding and it gave me a great amount of experience working the backend of WordPress websites.
